Costa Rican Coffee Brewing

  1. Grind beans just before you use them. Use an extra-fine rind for one-cup cones and vacuum pots, a medium grind for most drip brewers, and a coarse grind for French presses.
  2. Use 2 or more rounded tablespoons of coffee per 6 oz. cup.
  3. If your tap water has an unpleasant taste or odor, use filtered or bottled water.
  4. Serve coffee as soon as possible.
  5. Store coffee in a cool, dry, dark place.
